Traditional Shop Awnings
Planning restraints, conservation areas, listed buildings all require that shops and restaurants keep things 'traditional'. Our wood boxed traditional awnings satisfy these requirements without compromising on effectiveness, quality or elegance.
Our traditional awnings are hand-crafted using the same methods employed by our founders, in the 1930s and 1940s. The blind-boxes are constructed of seasoned and treated timber to ensure they stay rot-free for decades. The only difference between the 1940's traditional awnings and today's traditional awnings are that we now use water and fade resistant Teflon coated acrylic fabrics instead of heavy cotton fabric!
